What do I need to bring for my children for their day at nursery?
Please make sure your child has plenty of spare clothes. Throughout the nursery we encourage sensory and messy play which means the children also get messy! Please take into account if your child is toilet training too. Nappies, wipes, food and drink are all provided but please feel free to bring along any comforters you feel will help your child to settle and feel at home. In baby room, you will be given a contact book which is a daily diary of your child’s day. This will come home each day with the child so please make sure it is put back in their bag before their next session. Finally, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately each day according to the weather. This includes wellington boots, hat, scarves, gloves and a coat for winter and a sun hat and sun cream for summer. Please make sure all items of clothing are named.
How often does my child get to play outside?
All rooms have at least two allocated sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. In the event of extreme weather conditions, inside activities are made available however, we do like the children to experience all weathers.
What are your opening and sessions for the nursery?
